Celebrating Sanctuary – Queen Square

Our annual flagship event returns for a wonderful day of community celebration, music, dance, family activities and fun in the (fingers crossed) sun!

Join us for a refugee-led programme of performers, craft and food traders, children’s area, informations stalls, in the beautiful city centre setting of Queen Square. It’s free, and all are welcome.

Our amazing programme features Anatolian songs, Tibetan music and dance, Cardiff’s Oasis One World choir, Speak Out showcase hosted by MoYah, the Dovetail Orchestra, music and songs from Zimbabwe, the Bristol Griot’s master kora playing, a Sudanese procession, Afidance with Rubba and Drummers, music from Congolese master Servo, and much more!
