Bristol Museums – Welcomes refugees
We’d like to offer a few special welcomes to refugees and asylum seekers visiting our two main sites, Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, and M Shed. www.bristolmuseums.org.uk
- A Home themed tour of M Shed, which tells the story of Bristol.
- Free entry to our ticketed exhibition, National Treasures: Constable in Bristol at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery. Bring confirmation of your refugee status to either museum to pick up a free ticket during the Festival. The tickets contain a code that can be used online to book a time slot, or our staff can book for you.
- A flyer about an event in the autumn called World in Bristol, with details about how you can get involved if you’d like to help us celebrate your culture and the wonderful diversity of cultures here in Bristol.
Bristol Old Vic: Free Tours of the UK’s oldest working theatre
On Saturday 22nd June Bristol Old Vic is opening its doors to offer festival-goers an extra special behind the scenes tour of the UK’s oldest working theatre. Standing on King Street for 258 years, our walls have a lot to say about the changing face of Bristol. Come on in and learn about the people, movements and moments that have shaped who we are today, and how they connect us to the rest of the world…Tours are free but space is limited, please reserve your spot via this link: Event Details | Bristol Old Vic
