Community Engagement Officer
Bristol Refugee Festival is looking for for a pro-active experienced engagement lead, to help us build strong sustainable relationships with local communities across creating opportunities for refugees and asylum seekers and facilitating a series of co-created local events and workshops.
Salary: £27,000 – £28,500 pro rata (£16,200 – £17,100) depending on experience
Contract: Fixed term 1 year
Hours: 3 days/ 21 hours (based on 35 hours week)
Workplace: Hybrid, flexible working – Office St Pauls, Bristol
Annual leave: 30 days pro rata (18 days)

Ambassadors (voluntary role)
Our ambassadors are a integral part of our organisation representing both the organisation and the wider Bristol refugee community, assisting the engagement team to involve refugee and asylum seekers in the festival activities and being a voice for refugees and asylum seekers in the city. If you have lived experience of the asylum process and would like to be an ambassador, please contact us for more details.
